Privacy policy

SynergyTower: the website synergytower.co.uk and the SynergyTower apps for iOS and Android. Last updated 13 October 2026.

SynergyTower has no accounts, no sign-up, no ads and no in-app purchases. It does not sell or share personal data and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Your saves stay on your device

Your careers (names you type, progress, settings) are stored only on your device: in the browser's local storage on the website, and in the app's own storage on iOS and Android. They are never uploaded. Uninstalling the app or clearing the site's data deletes them.

Anonymous usage statistics

To learn which parts of the game people play, SynergyTower counts visits and gameplay events such as "a task was played", "a floor was reached" or "a badge was unlocked", with the game, star count or floor number involved. These statistics:

The game keeps working if these are blocked or you are offline.

The feedback form (optional)

If you send feedback, your message, the topic, the email address if you give one, and a short line of game context (for example the floor you are on) are emailed to the author through Resend, sent by a small function hosted on Vercel. The email address is only used to reply. To stop spam, the form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which loads only when you open the form and is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms. In the apps the form opens on this website.

Reminders (optional)

If you switch Reminders on, the game asks for permission to show notifications and schedules them on your device (for example "the coffee pot is full again"). Nothing is sent to a server for this. You can switch them off in Menu > Settings or in your device's settings.

Hosting

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which, like any web host, processes your IP address to deliver the pages. The apps contain the whole game and only go online for the statistics, the feedback form and links you open.

Children

SynergyTower does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, children included: the statistics are anonymous and the feedback form is optional.

Your rights and contact

Because no personal data is kept apart from feedback emails, there is little to access or delete. To ask about or delete a feedback message you sent, use the contact form or open an issue on GitHub. The game is made by Martin Večeřa.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
